Commentary: Essai biographique de 1926 sur François Xavier écrite avec une certaine perspective. L'auteur remet en cause le travail missionnaire de François Xavier, tout en rappelant l'héroïsme de l'homme: "The end of his eleven years' battle was failure. (…) But he added another to the never too long list of heroic figures in the history of mankind; and he shines (…) as one who lived for a great idea, and died for it too". (p. 460)
